This column lamp is carved from alabaster found in the Sierra Madre Mountains of Mexico. The natural alabaster is formed over time from old seabeds causing the different layers and colors. The artist called this alabaster fire and ice for the red and light color contrasts and variations. This lamp has a natural rough edge on top.
