This column lamp is carved from alabaster found in the Sierra Madre Mountains of Mexico. The natural alabaster is formed over time from old seabeds causing the different layers and colors. The artist called this alabaster rainbow for the number of colors represented. The blue.green is a fluorite deposit. This lamp has a natural rough edge on the top.
